The Role
Director of Strategic Partnerships – Ideal for someone with 3-5 years of event and/or sponsorship sales experience.
What You’ll Do
As an associate of strategic partnerships, you will support the Executive Vice President of Partnerships. The role at Consero is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing organization and make an impact. The successful candidate will work one-on-one with the EVP of Partnerships to nurture existing client relationships and grow the business by cultivating new relationships. This remote position is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of experience in sales or lead generation (preferably in B2B environments).
- Provide dedicated sales operations support to the EVP of Partnerships
- Research & Lead Generation: Support outbound lead generation by researching accounts and identifying key players to schedule prospect calls.
- Develop and manage relationships through phone, Zoom, email, and social media.
- Work directly with senior sales and marketing leaders within prospective client organizations to establish credibility and maximize their partnership.
- Assist with drafting contracts based on approved templates, creating proposals, and keeping CRM up to date.
- Use Salesforce and other sales tools on a daily basis.
- Join the EVP of Partnerships at live Consero events across the U.S. to facilitate partnership development and support.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years of sales or lead generation experience (preferably in B2B environments)
- Strong research and lead generation skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and people skills
- Commitment to excellent client service
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, present, and influence at all levels of a client organization
- Professional presence, good judgment, and grace under pressure
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced organization and constantly identify the highest-value partners and activities
- Self-driven and highly motivated
- Proactive and decisive with a high sense of urgency
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, DocuSign, and CRM best practices (Salesforce preferred)
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Flexible travel schedule
