In the early days of the COVID-19 crisis, our primary focus was to generate programming that would address the ongoing needs of our network until we resume our unique, collaborative in-person events.
The most prominent outcome of those efforts is our portfolio of virtual meetings, which we launched at the beginning of April. These invitation-only online programs are designed to replicate as closely as possible everything that makes Consero events great—from a curated group of senior executives to top-tier solution providers—all within a format structured to foster relevant benchmarking and the sharing of critical best practices.
While we have a ways to go until the pandemic is behind us, there appears to be a slow and steady migration in the direction of normalcy throughout the U.S. As the volume of positive news regarding availability of testing, efficacy of treatment, and progress toward a vaccine continues to grow, our team is increasingly hopeful that our in-person events will proceed as planned in the fall, with necessary modifications to support participant health and safety. However, we will continue to observe relevant developments and look to the CDC and other government sources for guidance throughout the summer.
Like all of you, I am sure, we at Consero remain eager for a return to normalcy. It seems more important than ever for those executives leading the world’s largest companies to communicate with each other regarding their most pressing challenges and how to surmount them.
