Consero is honored to announce that Tracy Holland will be joining the Forum faculty for Consero's Corporate Litigation Forum 2011.
Tracy Holland is the General Counsel of Wayne, a GE Energy Business (formerly Dresser Wayne), which is a manufacturer and supplier of fuel-dispensers, payment platforms, control systems, and associated technologies, with headquarters in Austin, Texas. She is responsible for the management and oversight of legal and compliance matters for the Wayne business around the world, including litigation, customer and supplier relationships, mergers and acquisitions, employment, regulatory and compliance matters, and technology partnerships and development; she also sits on the Wayne Patent Evaluation Board.
Ms. Holland came to GE Energy as part of its acquisition of Dresser, Inc. in February 2011. She joined Dresser in June 2010 after nearly six years as in-house counsel at Dell Inc., where she initially managed litigation, and later served as chief counsel supporting a 9-billion-dollar commercial business. Before coming to Austin, Ms. Holland spent seven years as a litigator in private practice in San Francisco, as an associate in intellectual-property litigation at Howrey Simon Arnold & White, LLP, and previously as a commercial litigation associate at Bronson, Bronson & McKinnon LLP. Ms. Holland earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of William & Mary, and then worked for six years before attending law school, first in neonatal physiology research at the University of Pennsylvania, and later in pharmaceutical sales for the Upjohn Company. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
