Consero is honored to announce that Suzanne Leopoldi-Nichols has joined the Forum faculty for Consero's Shared Services & Outsourcing Forum 2012.
Suzanne Leopoldi-Nichols has overseen Shared Services operations for American Greetings since 2008. American Greetings Corporation is a leading manufacturer of innovative social expression products that assist consumers in enhancing their relationships. As of February 28, 2010 the company employed approximately 26,000 full- and part-time employees. The Company's major greeting card brands are American Greetings, Carlton Cards, Gibson, Recycled Paper Greetings, and Papyrus. Other paper product offerings include DesignWare party goods, American Greetings, Plus Mark gift-wrap, and boxed cards.
American Greetings’ SSC currently includes transactional processing for Accounts Payable, Benefits Administration, Employee Services, Payroll, and Travel & Entertainment Reimbursements. In 2010, American Greetings’ Shared Services successfully completed a comprehensive outsourcing project for its Benefits Administration, including employee benefits call center, COBRA administration with billing, open enrollment, and benefit audits. In January 2011, Payroll processing outsourcing was completed, including net processing/payments, tax filing/payments, garnishment processing/payments, and the implementation of Employee Self Service.
Prior to joining American Greetings, Ms. Leopoldi-Nichols held leadership positions with H&R Block (2002-2008), and NPS, Inc. (1998-2002) where she focused on creating excellence in Shared Services. In 2006, Ms. Leopoldi-Nichols and her H&R Block team won the APA’s Prism Award for overall Best Practices in the areas of Management, Process, and Technology.
