Faculty: SUZANNE DURDEVIC (Boston Scientific), Senior Director, General Counsel EMEA

Consero is honored to announce that Suzanne Durdevic has joined the Forum faculty for Cosero's European Corporate Counsel Forum 2012.

Suzanne Durdevic is Senior Director, General Counsel EMEA, at Boston Scientific, one of the world's largest medical device companies. She is a member of BSC EMEA Executive and Operating Committees. She represents the Company at Eucomed Legal Affairs and Compliance Groups. 
 
With her team, Ms. Durdevic provides legal support to the EMEA region, which is composed of more than 20 sales entities, as well as a range of agents and distributors. Legal support to these businesses and other functional teams (Finance, HR, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, and Clinical Affairs) covers areas of commercial law, public procurement, competition law, anti-bribery legislations, employment, data privacy, litigations, and training of sales and marketing forces on all legal aspects. A significant amount of Ms. Durdevic and her team’s support is also dedicated to compliance questions, in particular to the rules to apply when interacting with Health Care Professionals, both at EMEA, and country by country levels. Finally, Ms. Durdevic is also the expert of choice for EU questions raised in the United States and in particular provides support to BSC Corporate team on international employment and restructuring topics. 
 
Ms. Durdevic joined BSC in August 2004 as Senior European Counsel and was promoted Acting General Counsel Europe in 2007, in current role since October 2008. 
 
Before joining Boston Scientific, Ms. Durdevic practiced as a qualified attorney during 8 years in international law firms (5 years at White & Case, 3 years at Denton Wilde Sapte). She also worked in between the two firms, at L'Oreal, as the International Social Relations Manager, reporting to the Group Social Relations Vice-President. 
 
Ms. Durdevic holds two post graduates (DEA) degrees in Private laws from University Paris I (Pantheon-Sorbonne) and in English and North American business laws from Paris II (Pantheon Assas). She was admitted to the Paris Bar as laureate, in 1994. She also obtained an LL.M. (Masters Degree) at Harvard Law School in 1998.
