Consero is honored to announce that Dr Solomon Osagie has joined the Forum faculty for Consero's Corporate Counsel Forum 2012.
Dr Solomon Osagie is the Chief Legal Counsel for TSYS International. He manages a team of lawyers with responsibility for legal, regulatory, and company secretarial matters.
Dr Osagie obtained his LL.B in 1988 and went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration, followed by a post-graduate degree in law and then a doctorate in 2005. A qualified Notary, Dr Osagie spent several years in private practice before commencing an in-house career with a first in-house role as a General Counsel in an International IT outfit, and then further roles at Agilisys and Interoute Telecommunications. He was Group General Counsel at Global Switch Facilities Management before he joined TSYS.
Dr Osagie is a regular conference speaker at legal seminars and contributes to academic journals. He has lectured in the areas of business processes, strategic management, and cross-border legal issues.
Dr Osagie has received several nominations, including General Counsel of the year at the 2009 British Legal Awards, Corporate Counsel of the year at the 2008 awards, and more recently In house Lawyer of the year at the Lawyer Awards 2010.
