Consero is honored to announce that Pavel Klimov has joined the Forum faculty for Consero's Corporate Counsel Forum 2012.
Pavel Klimov is the General Counsel for Unisys in EMEA. Mr. Klimov joined Unisys in Moscow in 1994 and moved to the European headquarters in Uxbridge, England in 1996. Later, he moved to Australia, and then the Unisys Corporate headquarters in the USA, before returning back to the UK in 2006 to assume his current role.
Mr. Klimov is a dual-qualified lawyer and admitted to practice in Russia (1996), England (2001), and Wales (2001). Prior to joining the legal profession, he studied information science in the Moscow Aviations Institute. In 2002, Mr. Klimov received a PhD from Moscow State University for his research work on English law.
As well as managing the 11-lawyer-strong legal function in the region, Mr. Klimov deals with a broad range of contentious and non-contentious legal work. He advised Unisys on numerous IT transactions with private and public sector customers in the US, UK, Continental Europe, Middle East, India, Australia, New Zealand, and Africa. His areas of particular expertise also include corporate, employment, pensions, and data protection.
