Consero is honored to announce that Nelson Hayes has joined the faculty for Consero’s Corporate Counsel Forum 2012.
Nelson Hayes serves as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for C.R. England, Inc., a Salt Lake City-based global transportation provider and the world’s largest refrigerated trucking company. C.R. England has operations throughout the United States, Mexico, and China, serving notable customers including Hershey, Nestle, ConAgra, Wal-Mart, Kraft, and Kroger.
Mr. Hayes joined the C.R. England team in 1993 and is responsible for the oversight of all legal matters including all litigation and claims.
Prior to joining C.R. England, Mr. Hayes worked in private practice for 15 years with a Salt Lake City law firm. His area of expertise was in personal injury and medical malpractice litigation.
Mr. Hayes is a board member of the Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA) and has served as faculty for numerous organizations including TIDA, The Defense Research Institute, the American Trucking Association and the American Bar Association, US Law Network Inc., and the American Law Firm Association.
Mr. Hayes received his Juris Doctor from the J. Rueben Clark Law School (1978) and a Bachelor degree from Brigham Young University (1975). He is married to his wife, Shirleen, and has six children and 25 grandchildren.
