Consero is honored to announce that Michele Hovet will be a Faculty Member at Consero's Government IT Forum 2012.
Michele Hovet has worked for the City of Arvada, Colorado for 15 years. As the City IT Director, she manages the strategic use of technologies for the citizens of Arvada. The Arvada IT Department is known for its use of web 2.0 technologies. Arvada has been ranked as a national top 10 Digital City six times by the Center for Digital Government, placing 2nd in 2009 just behind Santa Monica, CA. Hovet was named a 2010 Top 25 Doer, Dreamer and Driver by Government Technology Magazine.
Michele has over 20 years of information technology experience in the areas of local and federal government, law firm, and banking. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Fort Lewis College. She is a Colorado native and has been married for over 20 years and has 2 teenagers.
