Faculty: MATT MISZEWSKI (Salesforce.com), Senior Vice President

Consero is honored to announce that Matt Miszewski has joined the faculty for Consero's Government IT Forum 2012.
 
Matt Miszewski is currently a Senior Vice President in Salesforce.com’s Global Public Sector group. He is focused on the State and Local Market, as well as K-12 Education, in addition to responsibilities for business development across the global public sector. He has a keen interest in the strategic and global account spaces in both the public and commercial sector, having most recently come from Salesforce’s Strategic and Global Accounts group.
 
Mr. Miszewski previously served as General Manager for Worldwide Government for Microsoft Corporation. In this position, he acted as a trusted strategic advisor to national, regional, and local government leaders worldwide to help them create an information and communications technology environment that supports their individual policy agendas and their citizens. Mr. Miszewski was responsible for a global workforce responsible for more than $4 Billion in annual revenue.  
 
Prior to joining Microsoft, Mr. Miszewski was Chief Information Officer for the State of Wisconsin, where he oversaw the state's approximately $400 Million annual investment in information technology and was a strategic advisor in the governor’s cabinet. His leadership in implementing an enterprise approach to information technology management in the public sector is widely recognized. He has spoken to government organizations around the world and has been recognized with numerous awards including Government Technology magazine’s list of the Top 25 Doers, Dreamers, and Drivers in 2005, the Center for Digital Government Achievement Awards Best of the Web Award in 2005, and the Diamond Awards in 2004. Mr. Miszewski has also served as president of the National Association of State CIO’s (NASCIO), helping to lead state CIO’s in all 50 states in the U.S. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, International Affairs, and Economics from Marquette University, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a Juris Doctor with a concentration in Labor and Corporate Law from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
