Faculty: MARY ANN HYNES (Corn Products International, Inc.), Senior VP, GC, Corporate Secretary, and Chief Compliance Officer

Consero is honored to announce that Mary Ann Hynes will be joining the Forum faculty for Consero's Corporate Compliance and Ethics Forum 2012.

Since joining the company in 2006, Mary Ann Hynes has had overall responsibility for legal and regulatory affairs matters for Corn Products International, Inc., one of the world's largest corn refiners and a major supplier of high-quality food ingredients derived from the processing of corn and other agricultural materials. As Corporate Secretary, she plays a key role in governance, interacting frequently with the Board of Directors, and is instrumental in ensuring compliance with the standards applicable to a U.S. public company. Since 2008, she also has served as Chief Compliance Officer for this global company, which has operations throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia, and in the Middle East and Africa.
 
Ms. Hynes came to Corn Products with a wealth of experience after serving in similar executive level roles at IMC Global Inc., Sundstrand Corporation, and Wolters Kluwer U.S. Corporation.  She began her career with CCH Incorporated and rose to the position of Vice President and General Counsel in 1979, continuing in that role until CCH was acquired by Wolters Kluwer in 1995.
 
Ms. Hynes serves on the board of directors for The Doctor Scholl Foundation (where she is Chair of its Audit and Governance Committee), The Chicago Board of the Mexican-American Chamber of Commerce, and the Women’s Bar Foundation. Most recently, Ms. Hynes was appointed as a Trustee of John Marshall Law School, as well as Treasurer and Audit Chair.  She is a member of many professional associations and is an active volunteer.
