Consero is honored to announce that Marianne Fogarty has joined the faculty for Consero's Corporate Compliance & Ethics Forum 2012.
Marianne Fogarty is a Senior Business Leader and serves as the Business Ethics and Anti-Corruption Officer for MasterCard Worldwide. Ms. Fogarty is a member of MasterCard’s Global Compliance and Forensics group, which is responsible for helping the Company manage and meet its ethical and legal commitments, including compliance with U.S. and international laws governing corruption. Ms. Fogarty is responsible for day-to-day management of MasterCard’s regional compliance program, the Code of Conduct and global ethics awareness and training, as well as MasterCard’s global anti-corruption program. Ms. Fogarty also conducts internal investigations of employee fraud and misconduct related to violations of the law, financial regulations, and Company policies.
Ms. Fogarty joined MasterCard in 2008. Prior to joining MasterCard, she spent 16 years at major law firms involved in complex commercial litigation and arbitration, government and internal investigations, corporate criminal defense, securities litigation, and representation of clients in a variety of legal and regulatory matters. Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Fogarty clerked for the Hon. Thomas J. Meskill, United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Ms. Fogarty graduated from Fordham Law School in 1990 and is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, SDNY, EDNY, and the U.S. Supreme Court. She received a Bachelor of Science from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1985.
