Consero is honored to announce that John H. Fenner will be joining the Forum faculty for Consero's Corporate Compliance and Ethics Forum 2012.
 
John H. Fenner is Vice President, Corporate General Counsel, Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer for Turner Industries Group, LLC and its affiliated companies. Turner Industries is a privately owned company providing specialized maintenance and construction-related services to the petrochemical, chemical, refining, energy, power generation, nuclear, pulp & paper, and other industries principally on the U.S. Gulf Coast.
 
Mr. Fenner draws on a wealth of experience and expertise in the industrial maintenance and construction arenas that has seen Turner double its revenues over the last 5 years. Mr. Fenner originally joined Turner in December of 2005 as its General Counsel.  In March of 2011, he was named Vice President of Legal, and was promoted to Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer.
 
As Turner’s CECO, Mr. Fenner develops, implements, and enforces company policies relative to a myriad of issues, including enforcing the corporate code of conduct, wage and hour issues [principally the USDoL and the IRS], employee classifications, Affirmative Action, Federal Acquisition Regulations, NLRB & unionization issues, immigration & I-9 issues, and employee social networking.
 
As VP & Corporate General Counsel, Mr. Fenner continues his long-standing role in advising management on issues such as complex industrial contract negotiations; litigation and related issues in the industrial maintenance, construction, and fabrication industries; leases, site assessments, and other real estate issues; regulatory matters; industrial safety issues for site locations; and supervision of outside counsel relationships.
