Faculty: FARZAD BARKHORDARI (Click 4 Compliance), Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Consero is honored to announce that Farzad Barkhordari, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Click 4 Compliance, will be a member of the Forum Faculty at Consero's Corporate Counsel Forum 2011.

Farzad Barkhordari is an attorney who focuses his legal practice on anti-corruption and compliance with the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and related international laws.  Mr. Barkhordari spent over nine years in the Legal Department of Sun Microsystems in Palo Alto, Washington, D.C., and Geneva, Switzerland, where he established the Global Anti-Corruption Program for Sun and provided legal advice in a variety of other areas including international sales, distribution, and market entry, among others. He founded Click 4 Compliance, an online compliance training company, in 2006.

Mr. Barkhordari has advised clients at the senior management level on international business operations and complex compliance issues related to anti-bribery, and designed compliance programs, including training programs tailored to a variety of job levels, responsibilities, and cultures. He has conducted internal investigations and has extensive experience in emerging markets, including China, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, and he has lived in Europe and the Former Soviet Union.

Mr. Barkhordari graduated from the UCLA School of Law and is admitted to practice law in California. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan and also spent a year at Harvard University as a visiting scholar in International Relations.

Mr. Barkhordari has lectured at Stanford University, Stanford Law School, Georgetown Law School, the University of San Francisco School of Law, and the Latvia University Institute for International Relations.

He speaks French, Italian, and Persian, and he is beginning Spanish.
