Consero is honored to announce that Clare Wardle will be joining the Forum faculty for Consero's Corporate Counsel Forum 2012.
Clare Wardle is Group Legal Director and General Counsel of Kingfisher plc, which is Europe's leading home improvement retailer and the third largest in the world, with approximately 840 stores in 8 countries in Europe and Asia. They have market-leading positions in the UK, France, Poland, Turkey, and China.
Prior to joining Kingfisher last summer, Ms. Wardle was Company Secretary and General Counsel of Tube Lines Limited, and prior to this she was Head of Post Office Ltd Legal Services, where, among other things, she was responsible for legal advice on telecoms, financial services, mails, and government service products, as well as competition, data protection and freedom of information, health and safety, and other regulatory matters, including dispute resolution. She was called to the bar in 1984, joined Lovells in 1986, and then moved to the Post Office in 1996.
