Consero is honored to announce that Brian M. Martin has joined the Forum faculty for Consero's Corporate Counsel Forum 2012.
Brian M. Martin is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of KLA-Tencor Corporation. Prior to joining KLA-Tencor, Mr. Martin served in senior legal positions at Sun Microsystems, Inc. for 10 years. Prior to his career at Sun, Mr. Martin was in private practice, where he had extensive experience in antitrust and intellectual property litigation.
Mr. Martin earned his Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Rochester and his Juris Doctor from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School. Mr. Martin is an adjunct professor of law at Buffalo Law School, where he teaches a class he developed on the ethical issues faced by in-house counsel.
Mr. Martin also authors an ethics column for InsideCounsel Magazine. Mr. Martin was recently listed in Ethisphere’s 100 Most Influential People in Business Ethics and on its “Attorneys Who Matter” list. Mr. Martin has also been named one of the top 10 innovative general counsels by the LA Daily Journal.
Mr. Martin is on the Board of Directors of Family Supportive Housing, Silicon Valley Campaign for Legal Services (General Counsel Board), and Fremont Central Church.
