Faculty: AMY SHEVLIN (BAE Systems, Inc.), Vice President, HR Shared Services

Consero is honored to announce that Amy Shevlin has joined the faculty for Consero's Shared Services & Outsourcing Forum 2012.

Amy Shevlin is currently the program lead for the Human Resources Transformation to Shared Services for BAE Systems, Inc. She and her team are working with the HR organization to centralize functional HR support and establish a service center for all U.S. employees. Prior to her current position, Ms. Shevlin was Vice President of human resources for the company’s Electronics, Intelligence, and Support operating group, where she supported the human resources needs for over 30,000 employees at numerous sites across the U.S and overseas. In her time at BAE Systems, she has served in a number of senior human resources roles. In addition, she managed the company’s human resources leadership development program from 2001 to 2005 for the Information and Electronic Warfare Systems Business.
 
Ms. Shevlin has been a part of BAE Systems and its predecessor companies since 1994, working in staffing management, the U.S.-centered Recruiter Process Group, human resources management, and as a compensation representative. She began her human resources career with Digital Equipment Corporation in 1988.
 
Ms. Shevlin received a Bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire, and a Master's degree in Administrative Studies and Organizational Policy from Boston University.
 
Ms. Shevlin and her husband, Robert, reside in Alexandria, VA. They have one son.
